How To Establish The Right Mindset To Make More Money

When growing up, we as children are introduced to the concept of money. We find out money can buy things, then learn the elusive chase is to acquire more of it. What’s needed is removing the barriers holding us back, from getting and staying rich for the rest of our lives.

What many have is a negative perception when it comes to money, which needs to be altered, before we’re able to begin earning more of it.

There’s a metaphor that states “money is free,” when it comes to securing financial success, which isn’t true. If you’re wanting to become wealthy, what you need is a strong foundation.

There needs to be strong roots, meaning you need to change the beliefs you have about money first.

If they’re rooted in negativity, then it becomes toxic and your money tree won’t bear any fruit.

What having a money mindset that’s positive, does is creates a healthy strong money tree that prospers.

Most however, want to believe they already have a positive outlook about money, because who doesn’t want more of it.

Change Your Money Mindset

Were taught how to think about and handle money, this whether you realize it or not. We also develop our own specific attitudes towards it.

When young, we’ve had a variety of influences, such as our parents, siblings, teachers, friends, media, the church, the culture we live in. This conditioning remains with us for the rest of our lives.

Once you know what your money mindset is, you then have the choice to make them positive, and then generate the riches you want.

Certain Money Beliefs

What we constantly hear are certain beliefs about money. That money is the root of all evil, rich people are all greedy, you can’t be rich and be spiritual, money can’t buy happiness.

What we’re led to think is there’s not enough money to go around, you don’t deserve money, money changes people, having too much money is a hassle.

To become rich, you have to take advantage of people, or if you’re not born rich, the chances are you’ll never be rich. For those who are successful, they think they could lose it all and become a failure.

They would never have the friends they have if it wasn’t for their money, or everyone wants is a handout.

Certain Money Habits

Elemental money beliefs begins with our parents, and how they treated money. It comes down to how they managed their money. Were they spenders or hoarders, regardless if they were rich or poor.

Does or did money come easily to your family, or was it a constant struggle. Was money a source of joy, or was it the cause of bitter arguments. Were most of the disagreements because of money.

With all of these attitudes and influences surrounding you your entire life, it’s no surprise you subconsciously have a negative outlook about money, when trying to earn or keep more.

Those who are wealthy, don’t think about money in these terms.

They know by having lots of money, they’re able to give back to the world, to their loved ones in a variety of ways. The best way to help the “unfortunate,” is to not become one.

Learn To Take Control

You need to know you’re in control of your life. You create and are responsible for every moment, especially your financial life.

You think you becoming potentially rich has nothing to do with you. So instead of taking control of your life, you choose to play the victim role.

The most common thought of the victims mindset, is thinking “poor me.” The problem is, thinking like that gets you nowhere, and you’ll remain poor.

Stop Blaming Others

You can blame the economy, the type of business you’re in, the government, and especially your parents. You can use every excuse you want, to justify to yourself why you’re not rich.

For instance, “I don’t have the right education,” or “I don’t live in the right part of the country,” or “I’m not smart enough,” or “I don’t know the right people” and so on.

However, you know these mindsets aren’t true. You know you can succeed anywhere, and the first step towards that success, is getting a better outlook on your situation and environment.

Stop Being So Pessimistic

What constantly complaining doesn’t do is help your finances. When complaining, what you’re doing is focusing on all the negative parts of yourself you don’t like.

This reinforces all the bad thoughts you have about yourself, which causes you to attract more negativity, and remain poor.

So do yourself a favor and stop whining about everything, stop playing the cursed “woe is me” victim card.

You’re just putting yourself in a scarcity mindset, and not a rich one.

Be Grateful Count Your Blessings

It’s also important to be thankful, count all the blessings around you, however small or insignificant they may be.

Most living in this country are fortunate, especially when compared to the other parts of the world.

We have a world of opportunity available to us, if you want to take advantage of them.

So envision yourself as having abundance, and from there, you can go forward towards receiving the infinite supply that is money.

What’s needed is to adjust your “money setting” in your mind. This will then set you on track to become financially free.

Never think becoming rich is only reserved for those who are lucky, and you’re cursed. Then all you need is to take action.
