Change and adapting is always difficult for anyone. Our whole personal identity and comfort is often wrapped up in what we have learned as children. We use that identity when dealing with others, as it allows us to survive and thrive, as well as fit in. While we’ve had to learn how to adapt our lives in the midst of changing our persona, while adapting, we’ve had to opened up to new ideas to embrace this change. We all at one time or another had to fight for our survival, and change to absorb anything that came our way. Changing behavior is a learned response, as it takes effort to unlearn something, dismantle it and then adapt to new beliefs.
When this happens, it’s always possible for it to be a win-win situation. When we are eventually able to see beyond the ego and recognize that abundance is available, minds, people, and ideas come eventually together and can create amazing new changes that improve the current scenarios for most of us. When you work with others who have this abundance and generosity attitude, you are then uplifted, and there is amazing energy and creativity that’s unleashed. This is a lot more difficult to do however, to sustain and then elevate others when you encounter individuals that are driven by the thought of competition and scarcity.
See The Vision
Individuals like Steve Jobs, the co founder if Apple, are visionaries that have sought to bring shifts in society as well as business. One thing that you can learn if anything is to always take the high road. This is never about judging others you think are wrong, or about seeing yourself as better than others. It’s about recognizing your true self and how you wish to exist in the world. So never compromise your integrity. Never get caught up in competition with others. See the vision, see the final outcome, feel the ultimate purpose, as well as the passion that you are driven to offer others, and always give it freely. We all eventually pass on in this life. You can not take anything that you have with you. So give everything that you have to offer this world right now. What is not given by you is lost forever.
If your goal is to bring positive change as well as to serve others, how it’s accomplished becomes less important than seeing it accomplished, as that becomes more important. While it may be a bit of a blow to your ego when others criticize you on your inspiration, or someone else takes the credit for something you have introduced. You need to pick and choose those places where you will offer yourself, the key is that you will have to evaluate whether it’s serving a common good. When you are getting compensated for your contributions, then gratitude would serve you peace. If you continually feel stomped on or unappreciated, maybe it’s time to move on.
Know Your Purpose In Life
Knowing that you’re accomplishing what your purpose is, and living your passion will then be the reward. In time, it’ll be recognized. Impostors will eventually be flushed out and true heart and soul will always rise up and outlast the mind and big ego. Along the way, through that journey that’s your life and career, you’ll need to grasp hard to the true inner qualities of the sheer brilliance that’s you. Don’t allow all those unwanted negative experiences to become something that will undermine your true value and worth. You are not the one with that negative experience. Most times, the negativity that we experience is from others. It is more of a reflection of them and their life, and less about who you are.
We all have different values, different gifts, we are all wired differently, and have different life experiences and expectations. Difference is what makes you unique and not something to be judged by others. It is our gift of unique diversity that brings the pieces of our life puzzle together and creates a society, solution, or technology, for the benefit of all of us. So never doubt yourself when others cannot see the same vision that you see. Keep true to yourself, keep your true intentions, and you’ll eventually attract the right support, the right people and friends, and the right opportunities you are looking for. Lose the ego and aim the vision as high as possible.
