The 7 Phases Of Human Soul Development In The Circle Of Life

Phase #5 – You Begin To Experience Success

The 7 Phases of Human Evolution - Phase 5

In the previous phases, you’ve done the groundwork. You’ve learned about yourself. You’ve explored and experienced. You’ve found love and partnership.

Now all of that knowledge begins to materialize into tangible success and achievement.

When Everything Clicks Into Place

Judy spent years in earlier phases. She’d been in Phase 2 for a long time, learning, studying, trying to understand herself and the world.

She got a business degree, but it didn’t feel right. She worked in marketing, in tech, in education. Nothing stuck because she was still searching. Around age thirty-nine, something shifted.

Judy finally understood what she actually wanted to do with her life. She’d learned enough about herself to know her strengths and passions.

She’d explored enough to know what was authentic to her. She’d found a supportive partner who believed in her. And suddenly, everything started working.

Her side project, a consulting business she started almost as an experiment, started gaining traction. Clients came, opportunities materialized.

Success didn’t come overnight, but it came with a momentum that felt inevitable, like all her previous learning and exploration had been preparing her for this moment.

The Shadow Side of Phase 5

Here’s where there needs to be honesty about the darker aspect of this phase. When people enter Phase 5 and experience success, they often become selfish and shortsighted.

They hoard what they’ve achieved. They remain in a “me, myself, and I” mindset. They don’t have consideration for the needs of others.

Successful people in Phase 5 who won’t lift a finger to help anyone else. They pull up the ladder behind them. They accumulate wealth and accolades and guard them jealously.

They might be outwardly successful but inwardly stunted, because they haven’t yet learned the lessons that Phase 6 offers.

The key is recognizing this pattern so you can move through it consciously rather than getting stuck there.

Phase #6 – You Want To Give Back With Complete Gratitude

The 7 Phases of Human Evolution - Phase 6

Phase 6 is when success stops being about you and becomes about contributing to something larger than yourself. Your soul develops a deep sense of gratitude and a genuine desire to help others who are still struggling in earlier phases.

The Transformation of the Heart

I know a woman named Patricia who built a highly successful real estate empire. By age fifty, she had everything, financial security, prestige, influence. But she felt empty.

Then something shifted. She started volunteering at a nonprofit that helped homeless individuals find housing.

She began mentoring young entrepreneurs from underprivileged backgrounds. She donated significantly to causes she believed in.

Patricia said, “I finally realized that all the money in the world didn’t matter if I couldn’t use it to help people.

When I started giving, really giving without expecting anything back, I felt alive in a way I never had before.”

This is Phase 6. You’ve already accomplished much in your life, and now you want to help those who are still stuck in earlier phases.

You develop empathy because you remember what it felt like to struggle, to be confused, to be searching.

The Nature of Genuine Selflessness

In Phase 6, you’re born with a soul that’s ready to give because it’s received abundance from others in the past, perhaps in previous lives, perhaps through the kindness of mentors and supporters in this life.

You understand that everything you have is partly because of others’ contributions to your journey. You spend your time teaching, volunteering, mentoring, and serving.

What you do is go out of your way to make sure others are comfortable and supported. You gain real satisfaction from giving.

Not the hollow satisfaction of charity tax deductions, but genuine fulfillment from knowing you’ve made someone else’s life better.

People in Phase 6 are often the ones who start nonprofits, become teachers or counselors, mentor the next generation, or dedicate themselves to causes.

They’ve reached a place of abundance, not just materially, but spiritually, and they naturally want to share it.

Phase #7 – You Begin To Transcend

The 7 Phases of Human Evolution - Phase 7

The seventh and final phase is transcendence. Your soul moves beyond human consciousness into a realm of wisdom, peace, and divine connection. It’s a place beyond trivialities and the mundane concerns that occupy most people’s minds.

The Call Beyond This World

I think of my grandfather in his final years. He lived a full life, loved deeply, achieved his goals, and helped many people. But in his last decade, he became progressively less interested in worldly concerns.

He didn’t care about news or politics or who was winning or losing. He spent hours in meditation, read spiritual texts. He wanted to talk about consciousness and the nature of existence.

His children sometimes worried he was withdrawing, becoming detached. But my grandfather described it differently. “I’m not leaving,” he said. “I’m just preparing.

I feel less tethered to this life, and that’s okay. I feel more connected to something bigger.”

The Characteristics of Transcendence

In Phase 7, you feel a greater calling. You feel detached from the daily regularity of life. You despise the drama, the hate, the selfishness that dominates so much human interaction.

You’ve moved beyond it. You look beyond everyday concerns and pursue things far greater than yourself. What you feel is deep and enriched.

You feel saintly, though you’d probably never use that word about yourself. You no longer have patience for the frugalities of the world, the gossip, the competition, the material accumulation.

What you have instead is a thirst for divine knowledge, and that’s all you feel like pursuing.

You seek peace and isolation. You’d rather be alone with your thoughts and your spiritual practice than caught up in worldly drama. You’re ready for transcendence.

Once you pass on from this final phase, your soul becomes one with the universe, wise and loved.

Finding Your Place in This Journey

The beauty of understanding these seven phases is that it removes judgment. If you’re in Phase 1, you’re not broken, you’re beginning.

If you’re in Phase 3, you’re not running away, you’re seeking. If you’re in Phase 5, you’re not greedy, you’re manifesting the fruits of your previous work.

The key is honest self-assessment. Look at your life, your patterns, your desires, and your struggles. Where do you genuinely fit?

And once you know, you can stop fighting against where you are, and start flowing with your own spiritual evolution.
