What To Do With Your Life When You Don’t Fit In Anywhere

howtoconnectyourselfwiththeworldIt happens mostly late at night, in the dark stormy recesses of the mind, these are the times you may feel perplexed about this whole thing called life. At this time and age, we all ponder these moments during isolation where you stare back at the context of everything you’ve accomplished, and then wonder how you’re connected to it all.

Well, you’re not alone. The sole consolation being that there’s a number of individuals who are in the same exact situation, the same wonderment, of we feeling vulnerable and pointless.

Without a doubt the world around us is shifting. People are exploring and developing new and different ways of doing and viewing the same things, new perspectives and angles to view life, finding newer advanced ways to make a living and enjoying leisure.

Change Is Always Inevitable
As these changes begin to evolve, people are having difficulty on deciding where they fit in. This jigsaw puzzle called life which once used to easily snap into place, is no longer labelled or clearly defined.

Initially, what this can be is challenging. It remains comforting to know and decide which pieces that you are, how and where that you fit in, this provided that these pieces remain stagnant.

So how does one proceed to seize these tremendous opportunities. Is it even possible to skip from confusion to interfusion, from feeling separated to being linked in. The simple answer is to just think bigger, stay connected, and create your own world.

Just Think Bigger
What we’ll often do is limit our thinking by placing labels on ourselves, along with those around us. I am a minority, she is Canadian, he’s wealthy, they’re elderly, etc.

By typecasting these different classifications, it becomes easy to then create an environment where you don’t precisely fit in. The more that we categorize people, the less likely that we’ll have something in common with them, and the more that we begin feeling out of place.

But, if we begin to think bigger, broaden our horizons and view of the world, it then becomes easier to see how we can fit into it the abstract. Once we think to ourselves, “Hey, I’m human,” or “At least we’re alive,” does is it expands the spectrum of possibly. Suddenly, we can then fit in anywhere. We find that every one and every place is linked somehow.

Get Plugged In And Get Connected
The world has shrunk while our minds have expanded, this with the development of technology such as the Internet and wireless communication. People who would never have interacted in the past, are now able to connect at a moments notice.

This access to individuals, information, and other cultures expands and connects the world whenever we want to. We have immediate retrieval to this data, which makes it possible to realize that there’s a massive variety of people around us.

These interactions gives us insight into how others live, work, and play. We can watch and instantly learn about what life is like for them living elsewhere in the world. We find that although people may be different, were a lot alike.

Instant Connectivity
This link is now less informational and more interactive. We can go on the Internet, and through social media or chat rooms, be instantly plugged into people who are halfway around the world, or next door.

We’re able to find long lost friends in different countries, or connect to others who have similar interests, challenges, and the same beliefs. With the click of a mouse, we get this instantly.

Through this cheap infrastructure that’s at our disposal, we’re able to immediately access a wealth of information which plugs us in to where we can fit in.

Creating Your Own Puzzle
Once you begin thinking bigger, what you’re doing is associating yourself with a wider spectrum of people. Getting connected helps you to interact with them, these principles dictating that you are vital.

So there’s no point trying to fit into the puzzle that someone else has created. Why not just define your own existence which you want to project, and then create your own profile.

Forging Your Own Path
Regardless of what type of existence that you’re wanting to create, there are thousands of others at your disposal who are wanting or thinking something similar. They’re scattered around the world, have distinctly different backgrounds from yours, but once you expand your horizons, that no longer matters.

In all likelihood, there will be some who has already figured out how to get the same type of existence which you’re seeking out, and are most likely willing to share that information with you.

Your Own Construction Pieces
You can pick and choose the parts which works best for you and then blend them with your own ideals. Then shortly, you’ll have created something that’s totally unique, and can call your own. You then won’t need to worry about not fitting in anywhere, this since you live in your own world.

As this world continues to transform, the once traditional roles become blurred. So just think bigger, connect yourself and begin creating your own realm. Then you’ll fit in, you’ll be accepted wherever you are.
