So you attend all the recommended courses, you read the right books, listen to all the motivational CD’s, yet you’re still not living the life that you, or anyone else important in your life thought you would. So how can you starting living the life you once dreamt you would?
Believe it or not, this is quite a common dilemma for a lot of people, you are not alone. There are a lot of people like you out there, who at one time in their lives, expected to be settled by now, including a successful career and life long companions. But you go from job to job, relationship to relationship, desperately seeking the answers and guidance that unfortunately hasn’t been found yet.
You watch the people around you, your friends, people you went to school with, they have all moved on and matured, transformed their lives, and then you feel frustrated and angry that you’re not getting the same results.
Yet, you just continue to do the same things in your life, over and over again. You continue to see the same people, take the same programs, nothing happens, so you eventually begin to give up a life you once thought should be yours, all in quiet desperation.
Now, there is no big secret or a magic formula for success. Forget those people in the past who may have promised you something. You can’t rely on anyone else but yourself. The sad truth is that the most people are desperately waiting for someone to change their lives for them. They refuse to take any responsibility for their own lives, and believe that the only way they’ll improve is if someone waves their magic wand and blesses them. They think that’s the only way their lives will change for the better.
Well Here Is A News Flash
There is no one, absolutely no one who is going to change your life for you. The only possible way is that you decide to change it yourself. You can just sit there waiting and hoping, but if you’re not willing to stand up and take responsibility, no one else will. You have to accept that your own ability and drive can make the difference.
Why Do The Same Things Over And Over Again And Expecting Different Results
People today are willing to give up their responsibilities much too easily. They are constantly jumping from ‘fat loss diet’ to ‘fat loss diet,’ or from job to job or whatever, hoping that ‘it’ is the solution this time, the one that will make the difference for them.
If You Are Willing And Wanting To Change
You will need to make a decision right now, this very moment that you’re going to change your life. This is because you need to get better, you need to start thinking differently. There are a lot of ways that you can do this. Here are a few timed tested motivational steps and techniques that you can try right now.
• Start with taking responsibility for everything in your life, every action that you take, regardless if it’s good or bad, right or wrong. You created it, so you need to accept it into your life, and if you do, you can then change it.
• Decide what you really want in your life, what you’re willing to accept and what you’re not willing to accept. If you do not yet know what you want, then look at the things that you don’t want, as that’s the opposite is what you want. Decide on who, as well as what you want to be. Create a plan of action for self change. Write down a plan on how you’re going to make these changes.
The most important step is…
• DO IT. Make the changes you need to make. This is the very step that separates those successful people and achievers from the dreamers who are living a life of mediocrity.
Start Right Now
If you have been attending every seminar, reading all the books, and still sit idle and haven’t managed to improve your life, then honestly ask yourself this question.
“Am I taking full 100% responsibility myself for changing my life?”
If you’ve answered No, then begin changing and improving your life this very moment. Start taking responsibility, as well as using the knowledge of the “mentor’s” in your life, and then implement their knowledge. Then you will be able to create the life that you want and deserve.
If you want, you can wait forever for someone else to make these changes for you, and guess what, it’ll never happen. The secret is that: You Have To DO It Yourself. Stop procrastinating and putting things off, because the more you do so, the more difficult and painful it will get as you grow older.
So if you live a life of “I can’t” or “I tried,” then you need to rethink your life and implement different viewpoints. Now is the time to STOP ‘Trying So Hard,’ and relying on everyone else, and start doing things for yourself.
