It’s our immune that gets attacked first, once the immediate environment changes. The winter gets too cold and blistery, as the germs and viruses swim violently around us. There’s that pandemic. There are a variety of health hazards lurking.
What we hope for is the immune will hold up, and doesn’t succumb to the viruses which are threatening.
Once any airborne illness enters the workplace or household such as the common cold or allergies, what it invariably does is make its presence known.
It’s up to you to prevent these illnesses from entering your body by blocking them out, or eliminating them once they do.
What most will have is their own remedy or solution, for dealing and preventing these immunity illnesses once they strike.
This whether it be plenty of rest, plenty of vitamins or some type of effective antidote or medical treatment.
The key becomes preventative maintenance. To avoid getting sick, you need to boost up your immune system as naturally as possible.
1.) – Stay Hydrated With Water
This is one common tip prescribed by all, as being one of the key factors in maintaining a healthy immune system.
What clean fresh purified water does is flushes out your bodily system, expelling toxins it doesn’t need, such as viruses and bacteria.
What everyone from doctors to dietitians and fitness experts will tell you, once you’re coming down with something, is drink plenty of fluids.
Since fluids come in a variety of forms, the best remains water.
There’s also plenty of opinion on the current daily recommended amount of water to drink. For the average male, most agree it’s 3.7 liters, and 2.7 liters for women.
2.) – Get Enough Vitamin D
Most experts agree it’s vitamin D that’s the key ingredient to maintain a healthy immune. Although our bodies naturally produce vitamin D, it could also use additional help.
Many believe that the lack of sun exposure during winter, is one of the reasons why we get sick.
So taking vitamin D supplements could potentially help, to reduce contracting the common cold or the flu by up to 40% percent.
Any new supplemental intake should however be consulted with your doctor, to insure there’s no medical conflict.
3.) – The Cure Of Turmeric
There are a variety of herbs and spices which are proven to boost the immune. There are some who swear it’s turmeric, that stands out as being the most powerful anti-inflammatory spice available.
This vibrant bright yellow spice is common and a tradition in South Asian cuisine. Turmeric has been used as a medicinal agent for centuries.
The active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin, is thought to also reduce the risk of dementia, although there’s little clinical evidence supporting it.
Turmeric’s naturally known anti-inflammatory properties however, are enough proof to consider this spice will help strengthen the immune.
It injects a distinct flavor to every food or beverage you add it to, from casseroles, to stews, soups, curries, and smoothies.

Garlic has always been known as an extremely powerful natural immune booster. What garlic contains are anti-microbial properties, which eliminates harmful bacteria while preventing their growth.
These are the key building blocks for developing a strong immune system. The two main active ingredients of garlic are diallyl sulphide and allicin.

It’s an extremely powerful antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, and anti-fungal substance.
What a few drops orally does is cleanses harmful gut bacteria, while preventing infections and parasites from developing.
You can mix it with a carrier oil such as coconut oil and place it under the tongue.
If you can’t tolerate its taste, you can place a few drops in hot water and then inhale the steam.
